Why are we a King James Bible only church?
Firstly, please understand that if you have or use a modern version of the Bible you are welcome to attend our church!
What does it mean to be a King James only church?
Simply, all preching and teaching is done exclusively using the King James Bible. Our members hold the conviction that God has preserved his words for english speaking people in the King James Bible and we submit to it as our final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
But WHY? - aren't the modern versions easier to read?
Below are the main reasons why we hold to the KJB and reject the modern versions.

20 examples of changes in the modern versions
Here are 20 examples comparing the King James Bible to two popular modern versions. There are hundreds more examples we could put here, these are to highlight the issue so you can see what is going on.
If you scroll down below these 20 examples you'll also find more details as to why we reject the modern versions and hold to the King James Bible.

ESV
These verses are marked with the footnote: "Some of the earliest manuscripts do not contain 16:9-20"

These footnotes in the modern versions are misleading at best and fall into the area of a satanic attack on the authority of the word of God just like in Genesis 3:1-6.

The Lord Jesus Christ is called the 'morning star' in Revelation 22:16. And he is called the 'day star' in 2 Peter 1:19.
The modern versions have confused Lucifer (Satan) with Jesus.

Psalms 12:6-7
Comment
Translators of the modern versions severely weaken the doctrine of the preservation of the words of God. Because they don't believe it themselves!
KJB
And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
